About the Artist

Rachelle Eversole lived most of her life in Nebraska.  Farm life gave her early exposure to the beauty of nature and has had a definite influence on her painting.

She enjoyed drawing and other artistic media since she was a young child.  A brilliant sunset, old barn, or windmill never went unnoticed, or unpainted.

She spent several years around Boulder, Colorado.  The beauty of the mountains and rivers never failed to inspire her.

She enjoys painting a variety of subjects.  Mountains, waterfalls, old buildings and flowers.  She paints not just on canvas, but enjoys painting western art and animals on rocks, dusters, saw blades and skulls.  (Actually, anything that looks interesting or unusual!)

In 1996, she began learning the Bob Ross Technique of wet on wet painting.  She enjoyed it so much she wanted to share the experience with others.  She traveled to Chantilly, VA, where she completed her certification to become a Ross Instructor.  She is certified to teach floral and landscapes.  She has workshops throughout Nebraska, Wyoming, and South Dakota.
